My current goal is to travel throughout New Mexico. You gotta start somewhere so why not where I live right? obviously if the chance comes up I will take it to travel and I will ALWAYS be taking photos. This particular piece is near Elephant Butte in New Mexico, If you get the opportunity to go, I recommend making the trip! 

Caballo is perfect for family time. We came here for vacation and got to bring out the Kayaks and float lazily all afternoon and I was able to capture a bunch of photos of the mountains looking as if they are glowing! New Mexico is just so beautiful, especially late afternoon and golden hours.

4th of July Fireworks in Ruidoso New Mexico.

I have always loved fireworks and getting to take photos while with family. This particular photo just so happens to be one of my favorites and was captured the fourth of July in Ruidoso. I have used many different cameras and will tell you this one secret of photography: The best camera that you can buy is the one that you have on you at the moment that matters  the most. I consider myself a collector of cameras, both digital and film but this shot was actually with my phone! I was using the IPHONE XR and walking away from the event, I was worried that I didn't get anything but as you can see, the best camera I had actually worked! IPHONE photography has been popular for over 15 years now and the reason is clear.

Welcome! My name is Alyssa Dunn, I am a freelance Photographer from New Mexico and started my own business in 2020 after finishing up Highschool. My current goal is to build my portfolio and travel the world. Eventually I would love to travel full time and work for National Geographic taking photos and documenting wildlife. I currently make my living doing weddings, modeling photography, family sessions, and entering my work in exhibitions and publications whenever I can. Using Gurushots, I have been Exhibited in Hungary, San Diego, and Canada for my nature photography. I have also been Published in Pretty Little Posers Magazine for one of the weddings I have done. My most recent accomplishment was being accepted in a calendar for 2024: The World's Most Royal Pets Vol 4.
